4. Least Common Multiple (LCM)

The smallest number that is a multiple of two numbers.

To find the GCF of two or multiple numbers:
1- Factor both into primes.
2- Take the highest power of each prime.
Example:
$$12=2^2 \cdot 3$$ and $$18 = 2 \cdot 3^2$$
$$LCM=2^2 \cdot 3^2 = 36$$
